Micro London Wedding Photography - Chelsea Old Town Hall, London, UK

-------------

"You can take the girl out of London, but you can't take London out of the girl"

I think it's safe to say that the saying is absolutely true - London Town Hall ceremonies truly hold a place in my heart. Having grown up in London, living the commute on the big ol red buses and tubes, and having the London walk (iykyk), it is most definitely a place I still call home.

So heading back up to Kensington & Chelsea (where my granny was born and raised!) for Karylle and Seshie's special day just felt so natural - especially after our videocall together prior to their day. They said their I do's in the beautiful Chelsea Old Town Hall, this time in the lovely Rossetti Room. This room, whilst still super cosy and intimate, seats up to 12 people, and for Karylle & Seshie those chairs were all filled with those that they love and adore.

There is just something about the rooms at Chelsea Old Town Hall that I really love. Just the whole energy inside is so warm and inviting, and cosy and really intimate. (check out another micro wedding I shot in the Harrington Room here!) If you are looking for a wedding photographer to be (literally) by your sides for your wedding at Chelsea Old Town Hall, I'd love to be considered to be the one to capture the moments of your special day🤍

After their gorgeously intimate ceremony, and an absolute shower of confetti on the steps of the Hall, we captured some friend and family group shots outside, featuring the totally iconic flowers that the Old Town Hall is so famous for. So beautiful.

We then headed on for the next hour walking the streets of Kensington, of which I had purposely planned our route to end up outside The Phene, which is where Karylle and Seshie were holding their reception with all their guests waiting for them. Now, considering that this wedding was in October, and their ceremony was mid afternoon, the natural light disappeared super fast, which meant that we had to act fast in getting some gorgeous natural light shots. We then also had some fun capturing some classy direct flash shots too! Being a short coverage booking, once we had ended back at The Phene and took a couple of photos out the front, we then said our goodbyes, and K & S went inside to finish celebrating their special day with their closest friends and family. I personally would have loved an extra hours coverage to capture the hugs, laughter and shared moments between friends and family there, but K & S were super happy with all that we captured that day, and my priority in this little life of mine is being sure that my clients are happy🤍

Karylle & Seshie, thank you for choosing me to be by your sides to capture the most beautiful day!

Cheers to you two🥂

Sending love,

Jess🤍
